Short Karjat fort trek with cave stop and inner staircase to the pinnacle.
The route from Ambivli or Peth village is manageable for fit beginners, but the final staircase and upper rock can get slippery in rain. The fort is especially popular in monsoon thanks to waterfalls and green ridges.
